The Ohio racecourse of Northampton Park first held racing in 1922. It remained as Northampton Park until 1938 when it was renamed Ascot Park. The photo below shows Gotta Secret winning the principal 7 furlong race on 27th May 1957. The horse was owned by Mrs S A Alexander, ridden by M Roffo and trained by Ben Stutts who stands behind his wife in the photo.

Typically at this time the trainer Ben wnet to the Chicago circuit in the summer and the Miami cicuit in the winter. Ben Stutts later became a leading trainer at Tropical Park.
